- Is this a real phone number or VoIP?
- This is a real Mongolian mobile number on the Unitel network, not a VoIP number. It receives calls and SMS like any regular mobile line.
- Does it receive verification (OTP) texts?
- Yes. The number receives verification (OTP) texts, so it works for account signups and two-factor codes that accept Mongolian mobile numbers.
- Where does it work?
- In Mongolia only, with nationwide 5G/4G coverage on Unitel. It will not work outside Mongolia.
- What happens when I use up the high-speed data?
- Data keeps working at a reduced speed of 128kbps until the plan ends. Calls and SMS stay unlimited.
- Can I keep my number by renewing or topping up?
- No. Each plan is a single cycle. When the plan ends the number is released, and buying a new plan means getting a new number.
Before you buy
- Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Most phones from 2018 onward do.
- Phone plans are not refundable for undelivered verification codes. Senders decide what roaming numbers they text; if a code is what you need, use SMS verification numbers instead.
