How to Pay with USDT at PikaSim
The process is straightforward, whether you are on the website or using the PikaSim app:
Pick Your eSIM Package
Browse 190+ country packages on the website or in the PikaSim app. No account or login required.
Select "Pay with Crypto"
At checkout, click the orange "Pay with Crypto" button. This opens our BTCPay Server invoice page.
Choose "USDT on TRON"
On the BTCPay checkout page, select USDT on TRON from the payment method tabs. You will see the exact USDT amount and a TRON address to send to.
Send USDT from Your Wallet
Scan the QR code or copy the TRON address into your wallet (TronLink, Trust Wallet, etc.). Send the exact USDT amount shown. Make sure you are sending on the TRON (TRC-20) network, not Ethereum or another chain.
Get Your eSIM
Once the TRON network confirms your transaction (usually about 1 minute), your eSIM is provisioned automatically. The QR code and install instructions appear on the invoice page.
Pay with USDT in the PikaSim App
The mobile app supports crypto payments through the same BTCPay checkout flow:

Open the PikaSim app (no login needed), pick a country, choose your data package.

The app opens the BTCPay invoice in your browser. Select "USDT on TRON" from the payment methods.
Send and Return
Pay from your TRON wallet. Once confirmed, the eSIM appears in your "My eSIMs" screen in the app. Tap to install.

If you do not have USDT yet, here are the most common ways to get it:

Easiest option. Buy USDT on Binance, Kraken, OKX, or Bybit. When withdrawing, select the TRC-20 (TRON) network. Withdrawal fees on TRON are typically $1 or less.
Peer-to-Peer Trading
More private. Binance P2P, Paxful, or local crypto communities let you buy USDT directly from other people using cash, bank transfer, or other methods.
Swap from Other Crypto

USDT Payment FAQ
Why TRON and not Ethereum?
TRON has dramatically lower fees (cents vs. dollars) and faster confirmations (seconds vs. minutes) compared to Ethereum. This makes it practical for eSIM-sized payments of $1 to $50.
What if I send USDT on the wrong network?
We can only detect USDT on the TRON (TRC-20) network. USDT sent on Ethereum (ERC-20), BNB Chain (BEP-20), Solana, or other networks cannot be recovered. Always verify you are sending on TRON.
How long does confirmation take?
TRON produces blocks every 3 seconds. After your USDT transaction is included in a block, our system typically detects and confirms it within 1 to 2 minutes.
Can I get a refund in USDT?
Refunds for unactivated eSIMs are processed in Bitcoin (on-chain or Lightning). We cannot send refunds back in USDT. A BTC refund link will be provided instead.
Is USDT as private as Monero?
No. TRON is a public blockchain, so USDT transactions are visible. However, unlike credit cards, there is no bank statement linking the payment to your legal name. For maximum privacy, consider paying with Monero.
What if the invoice expires?
Invoices have a 30-minute window. If your USDT arrives after the invoice expires, our system still detects the payment and provisions your eSIM automatically in most cases. If not, contact our help center.
